I’m sure you’ve heard these pieces of advice before:
“The riches are in the niches.” and “Niche, then niche down again.”
Meanwhile, your logic is saying: “If I’m marketing to more people, there’s more opportunity.”
I get the fear.
But here’s the thing: The prevalent mindset around niching is that we’ll be eliminating potential prospects that we probably could serve, instead of focusing on showing up in epic ways for the smaller subset of clients we want to serve.
