We’ll call it the sweet spot, where you are being completely you and your clientele is flowing.

It’s where we all want to be, but finding clients who both adore you AND buy from you AND feel connected to your business is no cake walk.

And I’m not going to lie when you put yourself into your brand, you more strongly feel strife and rejection when issues arise or you’re flat out told no.

But if you’re going to stand out and reach the right people, YOU are your best asset.

Because you have a complete set of life experiences and talents and quirks, this means you are unique just by being. If you can take the time to translate those things into your business in an authentic and strategic way, this automatically makes your business stand out. This automatically makes your business unique.

You’ve got a lot to offer the world, if you don’t already know it. Putting yourself into your business is more than you working on your business. It’s working you into your business.

It’s making sure that if you’re typing it online, you’d actually say it in person. It’s making sure your branding is something you can be proud of and not just a shade of something you like.

It’s about what you want to bring to the world.

But there’s a second part to that. There’s the transfer of YOU to your clients.

Your business isn’t just about you and what you can do. It’s about what you can bring to your people and how you can help them.

Your brand is like the bridge that connects you with your client.

So your brand stems from you, yes, but even more specific, it’s the pieces of you that want to serve. It’s the pieces of you that long to change something important in the world, bring life to others, and build another up.

While there is value to sharing our weaknesses and imperfections through our brand as well, it’s the best parts of us that we are going to be hired for and bought from. It’s the parts that encourage, build up, and bring life without expecting anything in return. When we’re sure of who we are and what we want to do & whom we want to bring life to, this is where we find the core of our branding.

This is what we should always be able to trace back to in every post, every graphic, every color, every photo. When we let our brand stem out from a solid vine –the you who knows exactly who you are, what you want, and who you want to help– we can begin to build a recognizable, memorable, and assured brand.

This keeps us from rebranding over and over again and wandering around not knowing what colors to choose. When you can come from a place of security in yourself and then present yourself in a way that is authentic, your branding becomes uncomplicated.

Putting YOU in your business is about more than money, more than stats, and more than completed tasks. It’s about the fulfillment that comes when we’re putting ourselves out into the world, the right people are seeing us and our work, and we’re making something good in the world.

This is the perfect recipe for a fulfilled, fun, and productive business brand.

So which parts of you stand out in your brand? What do your people know about you, without a doubt?

If you aren’t sure, I’m offering Jaclyn’s readers a free copy of my 12-page Brand Your Story Starter Kit (a $47 value!)

The kit will walk you through how to find your voice and bring the right parts of you into your brand, so you can reach the right people with the work of your head, heart, and hands.
